Draw Blood

'Draw blood' yeah I think that is the perfect title for this little story. Here is a little preview of the latest progress on the book.

Beatdown part 2

For lack of a better title this story depicts further exploits in the far east. This story will be featured in the second book.  This particular frame marks the point in the story right before things started to go horribly wrong (again).

C NOTE

I have been working on this story called C note for quite some time now (years) The idea is simple enough, the story follows the life of a hundred dollar bill, from one transaction to another. Needless to say, the story of $100 is going to be different than say...the story of $1 or a $20.I cant seem to figure out a clever enough ending for this story, so I thought I would throw this out there,if anyone is interested in submitting an idea for this story, and it is accepted by the creatives (myself) I would be willing to give a writer's credit and a share in the page rate if it got printed.

Junk

One of the stories featured in the second Massive Swerve book is called Junk. It is about Alice and chains frontman Layne Stanley who was a noted Herione addict.    way to go Layne.

more Boy Zero

Around the same time as that guitar hero spot was being completed in London,I was also wrapping up a year-long project called Boy Zero.Written by Quinn Tetterton and Charles Cohen, this 56 page story was featured in the May issue of Heavy Metal.Just as a side note,I thought that it might be appropriate, now that I have reached the status of printed artist in Heavy Metal,to introduce myself to Simon Bisley at the San Diego con, which is no easy thing. So I puttered around the Heavy Metal booth while he was signing autographs patiently waiting my turn flipping through one of his books, at one point he looked over and barked at me"hey! You gonna buy that thing or not, this ain't no damn library."

I was thrilled to be asked to contribute a drawing to the sketchtravel project,This I did with a certain amount of trepidation, not only because the entry before mine was from non other than Mike Mignola but becuse I have a tendency to loose things. So, provided I didnt remove the book from the room I was working in, Dice reluctantly left the book in my care.    thanx dice.

guitar hero

I have been getting lots of credit for the recent guitar hero spot done by Passion pictures in London.I am not sure why this is the case, true I was involved in the production, but not to the extent that I should be congratulated or anything like that. While the rest of us were sucking back pints in the pub,Pete Candeland was the guy staying up all night and  putting this spot together.I just want to give credit where credit is due.
